How Corruption affects politicians in America?

 

Andrew Cuomo promised to restore integrity to state government after he was elected governor. Two years later, as several state legislator were indicted for bribes, and perhaps just as importantly, as Governor Andrew Cuomo's reelection loomed, he did what many politicians do when faced with a difficult problem: he appointed a commission. He announced the creation of the Commission to Investigate Public Corruption. He also promised that it would be independent. Less than one year later. Governor Andrew Cuomo prematurely shut down the commission. claiming that he would he'd been able to persuade the legislature to adopt new ethics rules in exchange for doing so, but many people questioned the decision.

 

Why Governor Andrew Cuomo shout down the commission prematurely?. Was he hiding something?  Is he paying back favors from his political Campaign? There are many questions to answer. .

 

Zephyr Teachout is an Associate Professor of  Law at fordham University.  She ran last year against the  incumbent governor Andrew Cuomo. During his political Campaing she spent $200,000  as compared to Cuomo's $32 million.  Unfortunately, she lost the elections. She is the author of Corruption in America. According to Teachout, corruption is not just Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo but it is the most pressing threat that our democracy faces.

 

Teachout convincingly argues that corruption, broadly understood as placing private interests over the public good in public office, is at the root of what ails American Democracy.

 

 

 

 



Elizabeth Warren push Republican Party to Focus in Helping Amercian's Working Class

 

Senator Elizabeth Warren said the Republicans should focus in helping American's Working Class.

According to Senator Elizabeth Warren since the GOP-controlled the Congress isn't helping the middle class fighting over issues  instead they have been focus in shutting down the Homeland Security and spending weeks on a pipeline. According to Senator Elizabeth Warren the Republican Party should work on laws to Benefits American People.

 

 

Republican Party is playing a very smart strategy. First of all, They are thinking for the next political Campaign. The don't want to give president Obama a good image to the American People. Therefore, they don't want to approve any bill that benefits the image of the President and the Democratic Party. Wasting time and don't approving any law. It is a good way to show American people that Bad performance of our  president.. Secondly, they wanted to approve the Keystone bill because there are personal interest involve in this bill. In others words, They lobbyist from the Canadian corporation is going to support the Republican party. However, the president Obama just vetoed the GOP's Bill.

 

Lets see this issue more deeper. Why do think the Republicans want to approve this Bill. It is because this Canadian company is going to generate more jobs  or its because the lobbyist is given a lot of money to the head of the Republican Party to either support political campaign of benefits friends related to the congressman. Sometimes we just see what the media tell us about the story, but in the reality is total different.

 

 

 

 

 

President Putin is making a Smart move.

President Vladimir Putin is continues supporting and helping the rebels. However, he keep denying his help with guns. special forces, artillery and air defense units . The rebels are still very active and fighting against Ukraine people. Russia has encouraged conflicts around his country to keep countries unstable and make them unattractive to the west side of Europe.

Vladimir Putin had been watching the Ukrainian people with growing concern over the past few weeks, but he was constrained from acting. He didn't want the bad Public Relations to damage the Sochi Winter Olympics, into which he would invented so much money and prestige.

Maduro is fight againts his opposition

                        Nicholas Maduro wants to stay in  power forever. 

 

 

Hugo Chavez, who stay in the power for six-year term as Venezuela's president in October 2012, is on of the most controversial leader in Latin America. Mr. Chavez has won a series of elections and referendums, including one in 2009 which abolished term limits for all elected officials, including the president. President Chavez argues that he needs more time for Venezuela's socialist revolution to take root.

 

 

However, in December 2012, he announced  he needed further cancer surgery in Cuba, and named his Vice-President, Nicolas Maduro, as his preferred successor should the need arise. Now, Venezuela has reached a point where they do not tolerated anything from his opposition, and over the past week reports of masked men abducting political leader that are against  Maduros' government.

 

During the reign of late-president Hugo Chavez opposition parties were started of media attention but were still allowed to exist. Today, President Maduro doesn't want to see them anymore and He was to have absolute control of the country.

Why is the reason that President Maduro wants have absolute control  and he doesn't allow to have a democratic country. It is because he wants to help poor people and improve the economy of Venezuela. Why President maduro went to Russia asking for help after the oil price went down?. You have to make your own analysis. It is oil money involve in this issue or blind power.
